IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT!!!
We are delighted to announce that Steve Robins, (Robbo), has joined us to take over from Tom on the drums. Steve is an exceptional drummer and there is more info on the 'ABOUT FOOLS' MESSIAH' page. Steve will play his first gig with us on 25th May 2024 at The Staffordshire Bull, Parkside, Stafford, come and see him in action, its going to be a banger! We would like to thank Tom for his hard work and commitment to us, he will still be playing with 'Poke The Joker' and we wish him all the very best.
COMPETITION TIME!!
At our gig last Saturday night at The Black Cock Inn, Blythe Bridge, we announced a competition.
There are a lot of people struggling at the moment, people who would like, and deserve, a night out who perhaps just can't make money stretch that far right now so the first thing we would like to do is live stream some of our gigs on YouTube for anyone who can't get there. To do that we need 50 subscribers to our YouTube channel.
So, what we are asking you to do is to tell your friends and family, about us, especially anyone who deserves a break. Ask them, (and yourselves if you haven't already), to go to our YouTube channel, - just search for Fools' Messiah, - like and subscribe to the channel then come back here, follow this page and just post a message saying 'subscribed' (no cheating, YouTube stats tells us who has subscribed!), and the 50th person to subscribe to our YouTube Channel, together with one other, will be our guests for the night at our gig on 15th June 2024 at The Potters Bar, Meir Park, Stoke which will include a meal at the pub and a round of drinks. There'll be some other goodies like T-shirts and baseball caps too.
AND, for those of you who have already been good enough to subscribe and follow us, if you have introduced the 50th YouTube subscriber to us, then you will be included in the guest night too!

WILKES
Mark's custom made Wilkes Les Paul in the process of being made by the legendary Doug Wilkes, luthier, master craftsman and maker of guitars for people such as Sting and Pink Floyd's David Gilmour. This guitar has a highly figured maple top over a swamp ash body, palm wood neck and roasted maple finger board. It will be fitted with Schaller hardware and tremelo bridge and Bare Knucke pickups. A custom neck profile, compound radius fingerboard radius and deep brown burst finish will complete this little beast.
Mark's second WILKES guitar is this beautiful custom Telecaster with a figured maple top, ash body, fabulous maple neck and bird's eye maple fingerboard, Gotoh machine heads and another set of unbeatable Bareknuckle pickups. This guitar is finished in a fantastic purple burst and rear routed so that there is no need for an ugly plastic scratchplate covering up that beautiful wood. The guitar can easily do the typical Telecaster twang but it also has a rich mellow bell-like tone with bottomless depth and crystal clarity.
