FOOLS' MESSIAH is a 4-piece rock band 'with a difference' based in Staffordshire. With considerable musical experience both individually and collectively over a variety of genres, MESSIAH'S members combine to bring you their own take on a broad spectrum of songs covering the last 50 years as well as their own music.
From Cream to Metallica, Pink Floyd to GHOST, Toto to the Foo Fighters and artists such as Whitesnake, AC/DC, Guns 'N' Roses, Alter Bridge, Gary Numan and Imagine Dragons, FOOLS' MESSIAH brings you the 'whole show', something for everybody with professionally engineered sound from a 4Kw Bose line array PA, state of the art Soundcraft digital virtual mixing desk and professionally designed lighting rig.

STEVE SALMON - Bass guitar

A true professional and a musician who makes bass playing an art form, Steve has a wealth of experience gained over more years than he cares to think about. Steve is a Rock and Blues man who can turn his hand to just about anything and counts amongst his influences John Entwistle, and Jack Bruce, and legendary bands like The Who, Pink Floyd, The Kinks, Foo Fighters and many more. Steve uses a 'Markbass' 350 watt rig, a 'Fender Rumble' 200 watt combo amp and Fender Precision basses. Steve is one of that rare breed of bass players who manages to shake the foundations without drowning the rest of the band. A really musical player and a proper gentleman, FOOLS' MESSIAH is very fortunate to have him with them.

STEVE ROBINS - Drums
​
Steve is an exceptional drummer, musical, creative and powerful; the Messiah's powerhouse. Steve is self-taught, has been playing for 38 years and has a wealth of experience. Steve has played drums for 'Nu Rons,' 'Sugar Rush,' 'Iron Ed,' (Iron Maiden Tribute), 'Overdrive,' (AC/DC, Maiden Tribute), 'Damaged,' and 'Sharp Dressed Men,' (ZZ Top Tribute). His influences are Stefan Schwarmmann, ('Accept,' 'Running Wild,' 'Krokus' and 'Helloween'), and the mighty Tommy Lee of Motley Crue. Steve plays Sonar SQ2 drums and Sabian cymbals with his crowning glory being a full Nicko McBrain Iron Maiden Kit. Steve is a fabulous and welcome addition to the Messiah's line up and we are privileged to have him with us.

MARK 'MAC' MCALLISTER - Keyboards, guitar & vocals.

Also known variously as 'Mark2', 'Keys' and affectionately as 'the Octopus' (because of his ability to play guitar and keyboard at the same time), Mark has over 40 years experience in the music industry playing in rock covers and originals bands on guitar and keyboard. A consummate showman, talented performer, instrumentalist, writer and polished vocalist, Mark brings fresh air, creative harmonies and dedication to FOOLS' MESSIAH, his primary aim is to ensure our audience has an unforgettable night. Having started out playing rock and then branched out to spend 22 years in clubland playing with the award-winning function band 'Cocktail', Mark has come full circle to FOOLS' MESSIAH. His influences are many and varied but include Deep Purple, Whitesnake, Rainbow, AC/DC, ZZ Top, Bon Jovi, Rammstein and Ultravox to name just a few.
MARK SHARMAN - Guitar, vocals

Classically trained and qualified, Mark's musical journey began at the age of 6 as a violinist. Captivated by the music and playing of Mark Knopfler and Eric Clapton, he has been a guitarist for 40 years after he decided that a Spanish guitar bought by his Dad as a souvenir needed to be played. Mark has been in bands since he was 12, both originals and covers. Lightheartedly considered a bit of a weirdo by the lads because he is left-handed, Mark is still able to count a Gibson Les Paul Gold Top, a Fender American 'Ultra' Strat and a PRS Custom 24 as his most used guitars which he plays through PRS, Mesa Boogie and Marshall amps, Zilla custom cabs and effects powered by Boss and Neural DSP. He is also the very proud owner of 3 bespoke WILKES guitars built for him by local master luthier, Doug Wilkes. Mark's other influences include Joe Satriani, Joe Bonamassa, Steve Lukather & Toto, Mark Tremonti and Alter Bridge, Myles Kennedy, Slash, Disturbed, GHOST and Fish!
